The UnBound Fellowship
At UnBoundRVA, we work relentlessly to alter life trajectories of our entrepreneurs. And with the introduction of the UnBound Fellowship, this transformational experience will also fundamentally alter the career trajectories of recent college graduates. Much like other, more traditional fellowship opportunities, the UnBound Fellowship has two purposes: to start small businesses alongside low-income entrepreneurs, and now to be a career accelerator for the fellows who will support them.
The Deloitte Millennial Survey (see link below) says that 77% of millennials make the decision about where they work based on the company’s sense of purpose, and this generation of college graduates didn’t disappoint. The interest was overwhelmingly awesome: we’ve received 50 applications from 15 prestigious colleges and universities. Through our extensive application and interview process, we will offer 2 of these amazing applicants positions as UnBound Fellows. Each of these fellows will be responsible for managing the support of up to 5 entrepreneurs, gaining real-life entrepreneurship experience, leadership opportunities, and the ability build meaningful relationships with individuals living at or below the poverty line.
And this experience won’t only be amazing for the fellows. Bringing on these energetic, talented college grads will allow UnBound to provide even more of the essential partnership and support to ensure lasting business success and personal growth for our entrepreneurs.
Get excited, Richmond, because we’re bringing in a couple of stellar young professionals that are gonna shake some things up!
